Teamfight Tactics boost PATCH 14.2 NOTES

ELO BOOSTING VANGUARD UPDATE

In a few weeks, we are set to introduce Vanguard, Riot’s anti-cheat software, which will become mandatory for all League of Legends and Teamfight Tactics games. Starting from patch 14.2, a diagnostics check will be conducted to assess your computer’s readiness for this update. If your system is not compatible, please refer to our troubleshooting guide or reach out to Player Support.

If you initially failed the compatibility check, it will be re-run at a later point. Alternatively, you can manually re-run it by clicking on the settings icon at the top right and selecting “Check for Compatibility” under General > Vanguard System Check.

It is important to note that Vanguard will not be active or utilized for League of Legends and TFT immediately. This early notification allows players ample time to prepare before its implementation becomes mandatory. For additional details, please refer to our support article on Vanguard.

WINDOWS MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONS UPDATE

Starting Wednesday, February 21st (patch 14.4), we will update our minimum system requirements and cease support for Windows 7, 8, and 8.1 in all League of Legends and Teamfight Tactics games. To ensure the stability and performance of our game, we occasionally need to discontinue support for legacy Operating Systems that are not widely used by our player base. If you are still using these Windows versions, consider updating to continue playing. More details can be found on our min spec support page.

ELO BOOSTING LUNAR FESTIVAL CELEBRATION

The Lunar Festival introduces an in-client hub where you can access the Set 3.5 Revival: Galaxies game mode, track your event pass progress, missions, and more! Alongside patch 14.02, several Lunar Festival-themed cosmetics will be available, including Chibi Sona, Chibi Porcelain Lux, the Golden Dragon Skyscraper, and more!

LIMITED TIME COSMETICS ELO BOOSTING

All Lunar Festival-themed cosmetics will be accessible from patch 14.02 until deactivation on Feb 22nd at 11 AM PT, shortly after the conclusion of the event with the end of patch 14.03 (Feb 20th). This provides a slightly longer availability window for the cosmetics compared to the game mode. For detailed information on Lunar Festival cosmetics, please refer to our cosmetics article.

While all discussed Chibis will be globally released during the event, the Booms designed for Chibi Prestige Dragon Fist Lee Sin and Chibi Porcelain Lux will initially launch on TFT’s China server, followed by release in all other Riot regions in a future patch. Chibi Guqin Sona’s Boom is available globally via the Maven of the Strings Bundle.

ADORABLE CHIBIS AND THEIR BOOMS ELO BOOSTING

Chibi Sona can be directly purchased for 1900 RP and comes with her own Boom, Crescendo. Additionally, Sona will have a festive Mythic variant available as a Star Content drop from Treasure Realms: Chibi Guqin Sona. This variant includes a new instrument and a Finisher.

ELO BOOSTING ELEGANT PORCELAIN LUX

Chibi Porcelain Lux will be introduced in Treasure Realms as Star Content with patch 14.03 and will be available until the conclusion of the Lunar Festival event on the final day of the patch. She also features a polished porcelain Finisher.

PRESTIGIOUS DRAGON FIST LEE SIN

Chibi Prestige Dragon Fist Lee Sin is accessible through Collector’s Bounties (450 Treasure Tokens) until the end of patch 14.3 as a 2.5% drop. If not received within 30 tries, the 30th Collector’s Bounty will guarantee Chibi Prestige Dragon Fist Lee Sin. Players unlocking base Chibis through this Collector’s Bounty will receive their unique Booms retroactively in a future patch.

GOLDEN DRAGON SKYSCRAPER ARENA

The Golden Dragon Skyscraper Arena, complete with win and loss streak animations, clickable fireworks, and progression as you level up, will be exclusively available as a Star Content drop from Treasure Realms.

FABULOUS PRANCIE VARIANTS ELO BOOSTING

New Prancie variants have been introduced: Liu Li Prancie, Porcelain Prancie, Royal Prancie, and Lotus Prancie. Lantern Prancie is available via the Event Pass. Each variant, classified as Epic tier, can be purchased from the shop for 925 RP at one star or found in various Treasure Realms.

TFT’S FIRST MID-SET REVIVAL

TFT’s first set revival, Return to the Stars, is almost here. This temporary game mode will be available from patch 14.02 (Jan 24th) until the end of patch 14.03 during the Lunar Festival event. For more information on the mid-set revival and updates, check our dedicated article.

One significant change since the initial article release is the adjustment of bag sizes after PBE testing. To address issues of excessive reliance on 3-starring a 4-cost unit, the count for 4 and 5-cost units in the shared pool has been reduced to 20, while 1, 2, and 3-cost units will continue to have 50 copies.

REMIX RUMBLE ACT 2 PASS

To mark the halfway point in the set, Act 2 Pass is being released instead of a new Pass and Pass+. This pass has a 1295 RP upgradeable version, offering additional access to Arenas, Tacticians, and more. For more details, refer to our cosmetics article.

EXCITING MISCELLANEOUS UPDATES

LOADOUT RANDOMIZER

A much-requested button is being added to the lobby screen, allowing players to randomize their loadout (Tactician+Arena+Boom). This feature aims to provide collectors with the variety they’ve desired. The randomizer, represented by a dice logo in the lobby screen on both PC and Mobile, will randomize among entitled content, excluding emotes and other non-loadout items.

BASE BOOMS FROM PRESTIGE TIER TREASURE REALMS

With the removal of Chibi Headliner K/DA POP/STARS Kai’Sa from Treasure Realms, all base Booms for players unlocking base Chibis through Collector’s Bounties will be retroactively granted. Additionally, base Booms for base Chibis from Prestige Dragon Fist Lee Sin’s Treasure Realm stay will be granted at the end. RP spent on corresponding Boom purchases will be refunded if the base Chibi was unlocked from Prestige tier Treasure Realms.

SYSTEMS AND GAMEPLAY ENHANCEMENTS

Cruel Pact can no longer be offered in the Radiant Blessing portal, and Silver Symphony & Decrescendo have been removed.

STREAK NOTIFICATIONS ELO BOOSTING

Syncing up with changes in streak gold implemented in the last patch, winstreak scoreboard notifications now display at 5 wins and at 8 wins, showing the correct streak length.

HEADLINER RULES
